Bought a moneypak card to reload my GreenDot account - I have a Debit Visa through them with my name on it, etc. Cannot get their mobile verification to confirm my text messages - tried over 7 times.
Called and was on hold for over 20 minutes, then got a hold of someone who kept saying they cannot verify that I even signed up or created an account. I was told "I understand" at least 25 times during this conversation. Finally got a manager, walked through the entire online process again, once again, nothing happened. Their "mobile verification page" just sat there spinning for 5 minutes, then said "it did not receive a text reply in the allotted time frame." I am beyond pissed off.
Now I have to go through the process of requesting a refund. This is ridiculous.
Reason of review: Problems with payment.
Monetary Loss: $130.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
I didn't like: Horrible technology, Unable to verify my text after 7 attempts, Being told i understand when clearly they did not.
