I'd love to write this saying I was a *** for trusting them 3 times. The first 2 however I tried to rationalize that it was because in fact the info I entered was wrong....I went to get my friend his birthday money he was going t use to purchase items on ebay with this...I go to enter the code.

It acknowledges my email, the card number, and amount, and I click continue.

Without EVEN TRYING, it goes STRAIGHT INTO THE NEXT WINDOW saying it cant process vaild info, and ill have to get a refund. Enraged I call after demanding a refund. They then have the balls to tell me their site is under maintenance...How the *** am I supposed to know that? It said NOTHING about that BS.

I flat out screamed at the associate on the line to stop giving me a *** robotic answer and give 2 shakes. "You took over 100 bucks of mine in the past, and it was my fault. Now you want to nab 20 bucks? You work at the *** place you should have no problem logging on, and sending ________ 20 bucks you money grubbing bastards." You know what she said?

She was sorry, and the same *** online maintenance *** lying through her *** teeth. If I could sue, and had a legit case; i'd call the cops, buttfuck her, and punch the manager in the face. *** YOU MONEYPAK.

You have my SSN, Address, Name, and 20 bucks. Are you happy now?

Monetary Loss: $20.

Money Pak is a scam. The only reason they ask for social security number is for identity theft.

Think about it. You don't need to give your ssn to use a $100 gift card from Walmart.

You don't need it for an Amazon e-gift. Only for the sketchy Green Dot do they demand a ssn before you can use it.

I went on down to radioshack one day to get a moneypak card to go pay off a won auction on ebay. It had been a while since I've last used moneypack, so I assumed everything would be an easy log in, type in code, and go pay off the debt.

But then it goes and asks me for my personal info? I'm verified, and paypal already has my ssn, bank account number and credit card number? So I put it in, and a second later it says my info couldn't be verified. The I try again, and It keeps saying verifying your address info for like 5 min, when it finally says I need a refund.

So, I go through the process of that, then after a month, I STILL haven't recived that check.

I'm pissed! I just lost 27.95 BUCKS!!!

Hey from Georgia. After having my money stolen through no fault of my own(Didn't give ANYONE my number, that would be ***), GreenDot will not take responsibility for their service and retrieve it for me.

So, I am here to let you all know how I will be handling this, until my attorney contacts me.

SPREAD THE WORD!

Are you REALLY sick of these corporations getting away with this type of thing, simply b/c no one will do anything about it? I am taking matters into my own hands!!

Quit letting them push you around!!

How can we assure them that we are serious about not being taken advantage of without getting in trouble?

Word of mouth!

I'm TELLING *EVERYONE*(In a calm, collected manner, of course, so as not to look like a loon)!!

POST IT ON YOUR FACEBOOK, TWITTER, and all other social networking sites you can think of! IN DETAIL!!! Be clear and concise if you can! GreenDot WILL listen to that!

It is WELL within our legal rights as citizens/humans to share our *absolutely horrible* experiences, in detail, and allow the consumer to decide for themselves if they feel like risking their hard-earned cash to greendot.

BE HONEST!!! Don't exaggerate or make anything up! Don't say it was 10,000 when it was 200! Keep it real and people *will* notice. If anyone needs help typing something up, respond to this comment with facts on your case and maybe someone will word it well for you. We are in this together, after all.

Good luck, guys! And don't forget to do this!! Unless, of course, you actually LIKE taking it up the...urmmm... Well, u know what they're doing to us all. :P We can and will make a difference! :)

I too have a complaint. Bought the card at CVS and used it no problem.

When I tried to reload the card, it would not accept the transaction, told me that it was a non refundable card ?, but offered a refund after 10 or so days during which time they're earning interest on my funds !!!

OK, tried calling them and was put through to a punjabi specialist from Bangladesh who told me that he could not answer my questions (after I threatened that I would report this to the State Attorney) and that he would put me through to another "specialist " This "specialist was a computer voice that repeatedly requested my social security number and then hung up ....suprise.

I am totally in support of the previous caller. These organisations should be brought under controll.
